Hello! I'm Ashlie.
​In the 3rd grade I entered myself in the PS 26 story telling contest. As an 8 year old who feared very little, I thought this would be a piece of cake. After all, I was a very confident child who would talk to anyone willing to listen. This is when I learned that public speaking and conversation were two very different things. The day of the contest, I stuttered, I shook, I stumbled, I lost. Badly.

Ashlie made quick work of my speech helping me hone it and express what it was I really wanted to say in front of my best friend and 150 people in a foreign country (Ireland). She worked with me tirelessly, practicing & assigning exercises that would make me more confident. Ashlie didn't just help me "get through this". She helped me give a speech that I was so proud of, I actually had fun giving it. If you asked me a year ago I would never have guessed I would even make it through the day alive.
I will now be boasting for the rest of my life that I gave the most amazing best man speech. That was the ultimate gift I could give as a best man and I was only able to deliver that speech because I had Ashlie as a coach.

Ashlie is very creative and patient. As a nonnative English speaker, I spend extra time preparing for work presentations, interviews, and sometimes even just casual conversations. Ashlie always has interesting ways of convo/presentation practices and provides great advice. I worked with her for 2 years after moving to New York and the classes were awesome.
